Directions to Stoke Road, Gosport
Portsmouth-Gosport Ferry - 3
minute journey (foot passengers, cycles, motorbikes)
If travelling via the Portsmouth-Gosport Ferry (Portsmouth Harbour), Stoke
Road is a 15-minute walk through the High Street (pedestrianised, opposite
the Ferry Gardens) and Walpole Road. Or taxi / bus from the ferry.
By road
Exit M27 at Junction
11 and take the A32 to Gosport. Straight ahead at the two
roundabouts at Holbrook Recreation
Centre/Fort Brockhurst, following A32 signs for Town Centre, and continue down Brockhurst Road, Forton
Road, turn right into Spring Garden Lane (Railway Inn on corner). Turn
right at the end of Spring Garden Lane. You will then be in Stoke
Road. First building on the left is no. 1, and on the right is no. 2.
We are no. 93 - about 100 yards east of Waitrose (in the High Street
direction).
If travelling from
Stubbington / Lee-on-the-Solent, go straight ahead at the roundabout at
Military Road / the Cocked Hat public house. Continue along Privett
Road, past the Gosport War Memorial Hospital, and along Bury Road. At
the end of the one-way stretch of Bury Road you will see the Welcome to
Stoke Road sign.
After turning left into Stoke Road you will see, on the right-hand side, the
White Hart public house, and this is no. 195. We are no. 93 - about
100 yards east of Waitrose (in the High Street direction).

If you are travelling east along Stoke Road
(having arrived via Bury Road),
take the first right after passing Waitrose, into Shaftesbury Road, and then
left into Jamaica Place

If travelling west along Stoke Road, turn left at no. 125/127 Stoke
Road (Rowans Hospice Charity Shop) into Shaftesbury Road, and then left into Jamaica Place
