Exit M27 at Junction 11 and follow the A32 signs to Gosport. After about 4
miles you will arrive at the
two roundabouts at Holbrook Leisure Centre/Fort Brockhurst, follow A32
signs for Town Centre, continue for about 2 miles along Brockhurst Road, Forton Road, turn
right into Spring Garden Lane. Turn right at
the end of Spring Garden Lane. You will then be in Stoke Road. First
building on the left is no. 1, and on the right is no. 2. We are no.
93/95 (PO12 1LR)
If travelling from
Stubbington / Lee-on-the-Solent, go straight ahead at the roundabout at
Military Road / Cocked Hat public house. Continue along Privett
Road, past the Gosport War Memorial Hospital, and along Bury Road. At
the end of the one-way stretch of Bury Road you will see the Welcome to
Stoke Road sign.
After turning left into Stoke Road you will see, on the right-hand side, the
White Hart public house and this is no. 195. We are no. 93/95
(PO12 1LR) − about
150 yards east of Waitrose (in the High Street direction).
Portsmouth-Gosport Ferry -
minute journey (foot passengers, cycles, motorbikes)
If travelling by Gosport ferry across Portsmouth Harbour, Stoke
Road is a 15-20 minute walk through the High Street (pedestrianised, opposite
the Ferry Gardens) and Walpole Road. Or taxi / bus from the ferry.
There is free and convenient parking on Stoke Road.
There is a free short-stay (3 hours) car park in Jamaica Place, which is at the rear of
the shop, just around the corner from Waitrose.
The car park is easy to get to from Stoke Road:
1. Turn into Shaftesbury Road (between
Waitrose and Rowans charity shop)
2. Then first left into
Jamaica Place and car park is on the right.
