Payment and Delivery:

Online credit/debit card payments will be processed by PayPal, a third-party payment service provider.  If you have a PayPal account please ensure that the postal address in your personal profile is correct. (To check that your address is correct, go to www.paypal.com, log in and click on Profile.  Under Account Information click on Postal Address.)  Payments are fast, free, and secure.  PayPal is an eBay company.

You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal after you have placed an order.

Most orders are sent by first class post.  Some multiple orders might be sent by parcel post or second class post.  Shoe care products will be sent by second class post. Large items may be sent by parcel post or courier

We will send an email to you confirming that your order has been despatched.  Orders paid for by credit/debit card online are usually sent within three to five days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).  If it is likely to be more than a week before we can send the order we will advise you of this. 

Although first and second class post is usually delivered within a few days, there is no guarantee that it will be.  Royal Mail states that two weeks should be allowed for delivery of first class post. 

Please make sure when placing an order that the email address you provide is one that you check regularly for incoming messages.

Security:

The locked padlock symbol which indicates a secure site for transmitting sensitive information will appear when you enter PayPal's payment site.  Clicking on an Add to Cart or Buy Now button or Begin Checkout will take you to the payment site.  You will see the locked padlock in the bottom right-hand or left-hand corner of the browser or alongside the address bar. 

When you are in PayPal's payment site the URL (website address) will begin with "https" rather than "http" - this is another indication that you are submitting information via a secure website.

If you cannot see the padlock when in the PayPal payment site, check that you have a tick against  "Status Bar" under "View" on the toolbar or, if you have the latest Windows Toolbar, under "Tools" and then "Toolbars".

Payment by cheque:

We will accept payment by cheque if the total of your order (including delivery cost) is £10 or more.  Please make your cheque payable to Mills Leathergoods and send with your name and address and details of your order (including an email address if possible, or phone number) to:

Orders paid for by cheque are usually sent within seven to ten days of receipt of payment. 

Cancellations and Returns:

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been despatched please contact us by email or phone as soon as possible after placing the order. 

If you change your mind after your order has been despatched and wish to return an item please contact us by email (or by phone or letter if you do not have email) within ten days of receiving the order to advise your intention. We will then advise you how to return it.  On receipt of the returned item, which must be unused and in its original packaging, a full refund will be made by the same method that payment was received.  Please bear in mind when placing an order that if you do change your mind and decide to return an item it may have to be returned at your own cost.

If an item is faulty or damaged when you receive it please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone.

True Utility products come with a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship by True Utility under the terms and conditions for a period of 10 years from date of purchase.

Please do not email your credit or debit card details to us.  Apart from being an insecure way to send personal information, we only accept credit/debit card payments via PayPal's secure transaction site, or in person.  If you do not wish to pay online and are unable to visit us in person, we will accept payment by cheque if your total order (including delivery cost) is £10 or more—please see above.

 

Privacy:

Your online credit/debit card payment will be securely processed by PayPal, a third-party payment service provider.  PayPal provides us (Mills Leathergoods) with details of your order, your email address and name and address.  We use your email address to communicate with you regarding your order.  It is not used for any other purpose and is not passed on to third parties.  The same applies to your name and address. Cookies are not used on this site, but they are used by PayPal.
